Bollywood Mother Daughter Jodis: Many veteran actresses have shared the screen with their daughters whether it be films, advertisements, and social media.

A mother once quoted, “My daughter is my biggest achievement. She is a little star and my life has changed so much for the better since she came along.” – Denise Van Outen. Many Bollywood actresses cherished their little angels and moulded them into the stars of today.

Twinkle Khanna who was staying in London with her husband Akshay Kumar and children, at the time she saw the movie, gave a shoutout to mom Dimple Kapadia, "Finally saw Tenet in the theatre and though my mother is so laid-back that she refuses to do any publicity around it, she has a wonderful part and is completely incredible."

Khanna, also known as Mrs. Funnybones, is an Indian author, newspaper columnist, interior designer, film producer, and actress who worked in Hindi films. She is the daughter of the Bollywood legend Rajesh Khanna. Twinkle married actor Akshay Kumar and has two children, Aarav and Nitara.

The mother-daughter duo is often seen supporting each other on social media and having fun together whenever they meet up. The veteran actress of Bollywood Dimple Kapadia has worked in a wide variety of projects from national to international films to web series.

2. Amrita Singh and Sara Ali Khan

Actress Amrita Singh is known to gain popularity after her roles in Betaab and Mard. She has two children with former husband Saif Ali Khan, Sara and Ibrahim. 

Recently, on the account of her birthday, Sara said that she wants to stay with Amrita 'for all my life.' Sara and Amrita share one of the most warm and loving relationships in Bollywood. Khan also wrote a poem dedicated to her mother which read, "…My anchor, my inspiration, the magician that takes away all tension. She has cures for mood swings, hair-fall, dry skin, and water retention."

3. Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan

Retired actress Sharmila Tagore's maternal grandmother was the granddaughter of Rabindranath Tagore's brother, Dwijendranath. She has primarily word in Hindi and Bengali films from 1959 to 2010 with certain breaks in between. Tagore married Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, an Indian cricketer. She has three children including Soha Ali Khan who is an actress and TV personality. 

Soha Ali Khan debuted in the movie 'Dil Maange More' (2004) and is now married to Kunal Khemu. The mother-daughter duo shares a special bond as they visit each other from time to time. They are often seen together in several photoshoots. 

4. Neetu Singh and Riddhima Kapoor

Riddhhima Kapoor who is a fashion designer spends a lot of with her mother veteran actress Neetu Kapoor. Post the death of the Bollywood legend Rishi Kapoor, Riddhima has made sure that she doesn't leave her mother alone on any occasion. Even though Kapoor did not join Bollywood as an actor, she stays well in touch with all events and is seen as a prominent designer.

Riddhima is often accompanied by her daughter Samara Sahni while visiting her grandmother. The mother-daughter duo is very close and shares a special bond.

Veteran actress Tanuja is often seen in a lovable relationship with her older one, Kajol. The mother-daughter duo is spotted hanging out together and has a lot of fun pictures and videos of themselves. Kajol also mentioned in an interview with Hindustan Times how her mother treated her like an equal and waited for Kajol to understand the situation. 

Kajol said, "Whether it was my parents breaking up, whether it was going to work or being a working woman. Whatever the bigger points in my life, she sat down, discussed with me, explained it to me, she waited for me to understand, figure things out and accept them before she got up from her chair and said ‘discussion over’."

6. Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan-Nanda

The actor turned politician Jaya Bachchan shares a very special relationship with her daughter Shweta Bachchan-Nanda. Nanda kept a low profile for a long time until now that she has released her own brand of fashion. The mother-daughter duo is seen in multiple photoshoots together, sometimes also including Nanda's daughter Navya Naveli. Nanda has also mentioned how her parents protected her from the work stress that comes from working in Bollywood which was also the reason why she didn't take up acting as a career option. Hema Malini had opened up about parenting her daughters on many occasions and has proved to be a strong figure in their lives. Even though at times when veteran acting legend Dharmendra, had reservations about Esha joining Bollywood and dancing.
