The Fluffies Of Bollywood: From Hum Aapke Hain Kaun To Dil Dhadakne Do

Hum Aapke Hai Kaun..!:

This family drama of Sooraj Barjatya is a love story in a joint family set up in India. Despite the film starring superstars like Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, and many more, the one character that stayed with everyone was none other than Tuffy the family dog. He was not just a biased umpire but the best wingman Prem and Nisha could ask for. This iconic dog impacted so many dogs that India spectated a significant amount of rise in purchases of white pomeranian dogs and many people named their dogs as 'Tuffy' proving this character to be truly iconic.

Dil Dhadakne Do

Pluto Mehra, the wittiest member of the twisted family of Mehras is not a human, but a Bullmastiff. Pluto, voice covered by Aamir Khan. Chillar Party

Advertisment

Bollywood is often tainted with allegations of lack of inclusivity, be it 'nepotism' claims or a lack of 'homosexual' artists inclusion. However, we are glad at least here, Bollywood did not fail to include stray animals who truly represent the streets of India, found in every corner and every gully of our country. When it comes to stray dog characters in films, the first name that pops up is the name of Bhidu, not just a dog protagonist who pets while passing through the streets, but a loyal friend of Fatka, an abandoned orphan. The friendship between Fatka and Bhidu represents two discarded children of the cruel society who deserve the utmost love of all, while Bhidu teaches how with love and pure intentions, you can win over everyone's heart and unite everyone around.

The story revolves around the life of a Joker in a circus, which is a representation of life and its hardships, emotions, and pain.
