The makers of Bloody Daddy just released a short teaser today, April 13, to introduce the actor's look and other cast members. The action thriller is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar of Tiger Zinda Hai and it is the first time Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor have worked together. Sanjay Kapoor and Diana Penty are also shown in the teaser.
Bloody Daddy Teaser:
Kapoor captioned the teaser he posted on Instagram, "Get ready for a BLOODY good time at the movies. #BloodyDaddy June 9, 2023, on @officialjiocinema." In the teaser, Shahid Kapoor can be seen walking into a hotel's dim corridor wearing a black suit and wielding a knife to dispatch goons. The subsequent scenes depict Kapoor's character's desire to get revenge following a personal disaster. While Rajeev Khandelwal and Diana Penty are on the side of the good team, the teaser also shows a glimpse of Sanjay Kapoor and Ronit Roy, who look to represent the mafia.

You can watch the teaser here. A lot of people responded to the glimpse on social media. Many people observed how much Shahid's character and the trailer resembled the John Wick movies starring Keanu Reeves.
Shahid Kapoor published the first poster of his look on Instagram on Wednesday night before the movie's trailer was released, with the caption "Bloody Daddy." In a PTI interview about the movie, Kapoor said he enjoys acting in action scenes. Moreover, Kapoor's upcoming film is an official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche.
