In celebration of BLACKPINK's sixth debut anniversary, the k-pop girl group announced some long-anticipated details about their comeback on August 8.
The upcoming pre-release single was teased with a black and pink poster, entitled "Pink Venom" will be released on August 19 at 1 pm KST (9:30 am IST).

Last week, on August 1 at midnight KST (8:30 pm IST), the group also released an announcement ">trailer titled Born Pink on their official YouTube. According to their video, BLACKPINK will release a pre-album release single in August, followed by their new album in September. The Kpop girl group will embark also on their world tour in October.
YG Entertainment, the entertainment agency that manages BLACKPINK, in early July announced that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa would be releasing new music and embarking on "the largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group."

On August 8, 2016, BLACKPINK made its debut with four members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. In October 2020, BLACKPINK's first full-length album titled THE ALBUM with its lead single "Lovesick Girls". The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their debut album was a huge success, with seven of the songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK's leading ladies have done amazing solo business endeavours in addition to their group success. With, Rosé released her first solo album R with the song "Gone" on March 21. The lead song "On the Ground" peaked in the top five domestically and topped the Billboard Global 200. Followed by, Lisa who made her solo debut with LA LISA in September 2021.
On July 29, the girl group also released a special ">track "Ready for Love" in collaboration with PUBG. This collaboration comes as a part of the 'BLACKPINK X PUBG MOBILE 2022 IN-GAME CONCERT:
