Singer Billie Eilish has released her new single in collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalia. The song named Lo Vas a Olvidar (You will forget her)was long-awaited as the fans were looking forward to the collaboration between the two singers. The song will part of the soundtrack of the popular HBO series Euphoria's special episode Part Two: Jules.
Since the HBO series gained popularity last year and the lead actor Zendaya won a Best Actress award for her role in the series, the makers decided to release two special episodes for the fans. The first episode was based on the protagonist Rue, played by Zendaya. The upcoming episode is about another main character named Jules played by actor Hunter Schafer.
The new single and the music video is much like Eilish's style. The song flows in soft tunes with Spanish lyrics while the video is shot with a backdrop of mystic blue hues. Billie Eilish took to Instagram to drop the song. Earlier she had teased the fans with a small snippet of the music video with a promise that she will release the song on Thursday.
Singer Rosalia spoke with Apple radio in April last year about the song when the two were close to finishing it. She and her team were waiting for Bilish Eilish to send her audio. This implies that the two singers probably collaborated virtually for the single.
Billie Eilish's last album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? grabbed many awards at the Grammys. Since then she has released other singles which have hardly lost her signature style of low-key music with soft tunes and distinct vocals. Her song No Time To Die is the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film of the same name.
