While the documentary gives a close look at what Billie Eilish's life is like. It also mentions one of her former partners, Brandon Quention Adams who is known as 7:AMP. Adams met Eilish during her concert in 2018 when she was 16-years-old and he was a 22-year-old. Some social media users questioned the age difference between the couple and made speculations if Eilish was groomed by her ex-boyfriend.

The documentary later elaborates on how the couple split with footage of Eilish saying that she loves him but she "wasn't happy" and that she didn't want the same things as him. Many of her fans called the relationship "problematic" "predatory" and "disgusting".

In the past and even now, celebrities have been in relationships with people much younger and older. What was really objected to by Eilish's fans was the fact that she was a minor dating an adult. Especially with the recent news of female celebrities such as Evan Rachel Wood accusing Marilyn Manson of grooming her in the past when the two were in a relationship, the debate around 'choice' has become a little complicated.

One user on Twitter wrote, "With all the peace and love in the world - it’s predatory. I don’t care how much she loved him. It is predatory. He needs to reflect on that. It’s not right".

Many were simply being the dear fans hating on the man who hurt Billie Eilish.

The documentary showed the downside of the relationship shared by Billie Eilish and her former partner Adams. He later gave his own statement on the matter by posting a story on social media that read, "There are always 2 sides of a situation".
