One such contestant is a popular television lead actor Sumbul Touqeer Khan, who is currently being regarded as a strong participant in a reality television show.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan, popularly known for her TV titular role of Imlie, is one of the youngest contestants in the history of Bigg Boss.

Who Is Sumbul Touqeer Khan?

Sumbul Touqeer Khan belongs to the Katni region of Madhya Pradesh. She started her acting career playing a child artist on television. Sumbul was raised by her father singlehandedly. He works as a choreographer and passed on his dancing skills to his daughter. The actor participated in the dance reality show, DID Lil Masters in 2015. She joined the Sehejmoodra Acting Academy to train as an actor and later made her television debut with the character Subhadra in 2009's Chandragupta Maurya which aired on Sony TV. As a child artist, she has been a part of some popular daily soaps on television across channels including Jodha Akbar (2103), Waaris (2016) and Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein (2019).

The actor marked a solid appearance in Dhvani Bhanushali's music video Vaaste in 2019, which gathered great appreciation in the music industry.

In 2020, Sumbul Touqeer Khan bagged the lead role in the daily soap titled Imlie, where she played the central character of the same name. The TV show which aired on Star Plus and Disney+ Hotstar accumulated a huge fan base as the audience admired her pairing and chemistry with fellow actor Fahmaan Khan. In 2019, the artist was part of the Ayushman Khurana starrer film Article 15, in which she played the role of Amali.
