Bigg Boss 16th Season hosted by Salman Khan returned this year on October 1. A total of 17 participants entered the house. Nine contestants are women—Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Archana Gautam, and others. Tina Dutta is one among 17 housemates. Tina Dutta's bubbly nature and her angle with actor Shalin Bhanot are keeping her in news.
For Bhanot love is in the air, and has feelings for co-housemate Tina Dutta in the show. The actor also asked Dutta to trust him, in response Dutta fired questions at him about the alleged domestic violence between Bhanot and his former spouse-actor Dalljiet Kaur.
Bhanot has been denying allegations and in his defense conveyed that being a boy is a problem. If anything goes wrong, the man is blamed. Although, Dutta has her own apprehensions about Shalin and his issues. She also asked him straight- "Was it an abusive relationship? Because that’s what I heard", as per a report.
Who Is Tina Dutta?
Tina Datta is an Indian actor who was born on 27 November 1991.
Dutta, at the age of 5 acted in a television serial called Sister Nivedita. She played several roles in films like the protagonist's daughter in Pita Matar Santaan, Dus Number Bari, Sagarkanya, and many others roles.
Dutta worked immensely in Bengali Film Industry. Datta also acted in Rituparno Ghosh's 2003 movie Chokher Bali alongside Aishwarya Rai. She later played the role of young Lalita in the 2005 movie Parineeta.
She also did television soaps like Khela, where she played a thug whom Dipankar De hires to spy on his daughters-in-law, Sudipta and Durga.
Dutta received numerous accolades and nominations for her role of Ichcha in Colors TV's popular soap opera Uttaran. She also played her on-screen daughter Meethi.
She went on to participate in the stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.
She also played a crucial role in the mythological show Shani and the supernatural horror series Daayan.
Now Tina Dutta decided to enter Bigg Boss to try diversity in her career. Earlier, the audience has been skeptical of Tina and how she would perform. However, now she is considered one of the strongest players, and also the people in the house consider her as a competition.
