Ajay Bahl's latest directorial offering narrates the tale of a small-town "player" who falls head over heels for a "self-destructive beauty," leading to a whirlwind romance. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, and Bahl, who is also the screenwriter, boasts a filmography that includes works such as BA Pass (2012), Section 375 (2019), and the Taapsee Pannu-led thriller Blurr (2022).
Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar On Work Front
Arjun Kapoor's most recent appearance was in Aasman Bhardwaj's crime thriller Kuttey earlier this year. On the other hand, Pednekar's latest project was the sex comedy Thank You For Coming by Karan Boolani, which was released this month. She is also set to appear in Bhakshak and Meri Patni Ka Remake, which will mark a reunion with Kapoor after their collaboration in The Ladykiller.
Additionally, Pednekar currently serves as the Brand Ambassador for the Dimensions section of the ongoing Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, scheduled to conclude on November 5. She recently hosted a masterclass alongside MAMI Chairperson Priyanka Chopra at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) on the festival's third day.
The Ladykiller is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 3, sharing the release date with other films, including Aankh Micholi, UT69, and Three Of Us.
