Lit, Savage, Inserts fire emojis!!! That's the only way to define the B-Town actors playing teachers step into the classroom with all the wit in the world. Most of them are not afraid by even a tiny bit to give their naughty students a teekha jawab. Which makes the entire class go OHHHHHH. Yup, in capitals.

All teachers are savage inherently. That's just because they know their students more than they know themselves. This is why, this Teachers' Day we celebrate the iconic monologues and LIT dialogues by our very own B-Town disciplinarians.

1. Archana Puran Singh as Miss Briganza

'Rahul....pyaar kya hai?" Admit it, you read it in her voice. It's alright, we too wrote it in her voice. Miss Briganza played by Archana Puran Singh in the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was delightfully flirtatious, fun, loving and sensitive. She is the love interest of Anupam Kher and a professor in his college.

Anupam Kher mentions to her that he started wearing boring clothes when her wife died years back. He says it's no use now. To which Miss Briganza savagely says,

"What do you mean kya faida? Mr Malhotra (points to him), Miss Briganza (points to herself) could be Mrs Malhotra."

and leaves Anupam Kher delightfully stumped, no words leaving his mouth. Only Bhangra gestures pointing towards their potential wedding.

2. Aamir Khan as Ram Shankar

Taare Zameen Par featured Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safari in lead roles. Aamir Khan in the beautiful manifestation of Ram Shankar the teacher, intends to understand Darsheel's complicated and dyslexic mind.

His influence reached far and beyond classrooms, with Gen Z hoping to this day that they get their troubles solved by Mr. Ram Shankar too. He unleashes a new perspective on minds that are different. Through this dialogue, he created a safe space for every child who has felt different.

"Duniya mein aise aise heere paida hue hain, jinhone duniya ka naksha hi badal diya...kyunki ye duniya ko apni alag nazar se dekh paaye."

We also feel insecure about our intellect. The way he expressed our insecurity through this dialogue took it away, for the most part.

3. Rani Mukherjee as Naina Mathur

Make way for Hi..hi..hi.hichki star Rani Mukerji. In between these adorable hiccups, she unleashed the most savage lines.

"Jab classroom ke bahar zindagi exam leti hai to subject wise nahi leti."

WOAH! That hit home. Rani as Naina was someone who believed in the holistic development of her students. She did not want them to lose themselves in bookish knowledge. Did we mention, she is also great at wordplay? Have a look.

"Aakhir soch soch ki to baat hai, kyun aur kyun nahi mein bas soch ka hi to faasla hai."

Rani as Naina, we choose you as the official therapist for the Gez generation.

4. Boman Irani as Dr. Viru Sahastrabuddhe

Life is a race. As much as we'd like to disagree with Dr Viru Sahastrabuddhe, we can't deny the truth bomb he dropped upon us. Each person runs two to three mental races every day. So thanks to Boman Irani as Viru Sahastrabuddhe for exposing us to this harsh truth.

Well, make way for a little more tough love coming your way, courtesy of Dr. Viru Sahastrabuddhe.

"Ye unused brains hai, inhe bechne jaayenge to full price milega."

5. Hrithik Roshan

Teacher for the 'Super 30' IIT aspirants Hrithik Roshan, shines throughout the film. Not because of his soulful green eyes or the face of a Greek God, but his simplistic approach and fiery passion to teach the IIT aspirants.

He challenged the notion of the supremacy of English as a language in India. In our country, the English language is often touted as symbolic of class and intellect. This closes many doors of opportunities.

"Angrezi ka darr hatao, kyunki aise bahut darwaze hai jo isliye nahi khulte kyunki log "May I come in" nahi keh paate."
