• Babita Kapoor, better known as Babita is a former actor who starred in over 19 films. Her debut film Dus Lakh (1966) was a successful drama. In 1967, she starred in a romantic thriller Raaz which shot her to bigger fame and put her in the spotlight in the film industry.
• Babita married co-actor Randhir Kapoor in 1971 after the release of Kal Aaj Aur Kal. Babita and Randhir have two daughters, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor.
• The couple then lived in separate homes from 1988 because of Randhir’s drinking problems and eventually divorced. Babita raised their two daughters on her own after the separation.
• The mom of two badass actors left the film industry in 1973 to take care of her kids even before the separation. Despite being a single mother. Randhir Kapoor has also expressed his admiration for Babita several times for her parenting. “She brought them up in the best way and they have excelled in their career,” he said.
• Babita has raised them to be strong,  empowered, and independent. Daughter Kareena Kapoor called Babita the "oxygen of life" in a 2017 interview. “She is the sunshine and oxygen in my life. She has done everything for my sister and me. She is a true woman of substance. All I know is that I can't live without my mother” said Kareena. Babita also joins her two daughters on their road to motherhood.
