Known as the father of lavish celebrations, former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique' s Iftar parties were the talk of the town every year. Why wouldn't they be, they featured the best of celebrities under one roof, where they all came together to celebrate festivities.
The most starry faces danced and dined under his roof. He was able to bring the whole of Bollywood together. One of his closest friends Salman Khan was seen gracing every party along with these contemporaries.

Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have been the most papped faces at the grand Iftar parties. Along with them major film stars such as Katrina Kaif, Sanjay Dutt, Suneil Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta, Vijay Varma, Emraan Hashmi and more.
Salman-Shahrukh feud: Siddique declares truce
Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan's age-old beef has escaped no ears. It began at Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008 and continued until the year 2013. This was the year when Baba Siddique had a major Iftar party organised, but he had a bigger goal in mind. He strategically made SRK sit next to Salim Khan, Salman Khan's father. This would mean SK would also have to come and sit there. This way they would be forced into some kind of conversation which could not turn into a fight given the father was sitting there.
They got to talking and the rest is history. When Siddique was asked about it, he said "They both wanted it... It was Allah's call. I had no role in it."
Siddique's funeral: B-Town shows up yet again!
Immediately after the shooting incident, Baba Siddique was taken to Lilavati hospital where he was declared dead. Following this, his body was transported to the Cooper hospital for a post-martem.
Friend Salman Khan was seen visiting the Lilavati hospital late on Friday night. Shilpa Shetty and Sanjay Dutt also arrived at the hospital.
Early on the Saturday morning his body was taken to the Qabrastan for the last rites. Celebrities Shehnaaz Gill, Mannara Chopra, MC Stan, Jay Bhanushali and Rashmi Desai arrived at the venue.
Apart from them, TV actors such as Mahhi Vij, Aly Goni, Arjun Bijlani, Yuvika Chaudhary took to social media to pay their respects.
