Avika Gor On Rumours About Having A Secret Child

Avika Gor Secret child: On rumours about having a secret child with Manish Raisinghan Gor who is known for her role in 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Balika Vadhu' recently addressed the  link-up rumours between her and Manish Raisinghan. She dismissed any possibility of a romantic relationship between the two saying he is almost her father's age.

Gor addressed the longstanding rumours of a relationship with former co-star Manish Raisinghan. She elaborated how the rumours affected the friendship between the two. As a result, they even distanced themselves from each other and didn't speak for weeks.

The two worked together on 'Sasural Simar Ka' and rumours of a romantic relationship between the co-stars have been brewing for a long time. Some even went to the extent of saying that the two had a secret child.

The two have known each other since Gor was just 13, and share a close friendship. She even called Raisinghan her 'closest friend'.

Finally breaking the silence on such rumours, she told RJ Siddharth Kannan, "It's impossible! No way! There were articles like humne bachcha chhupa ke rakha hai (we have a secret child). We are very close, even now. He'll always have a very space in my life. In my journey from the age of 13 till now, he has been the closest friend that I've ever had."

Gor went on to praise Raisinghan for being an excellent co-star and person. She even laughed about the baseless rumours by pointing to the fact how he is almost her father's age.

"I've learned so much from him. He's 18 years elder to me, by the way. When I saw how he keeps the child within him alive, it is a big thing to learn. Even now when people ask me if anything was happening between us, I'm like 'yaar, mere papa se thoda chhota hai woh (he's almost my father's age)," said Avika Gor on rumours of having a secret child with her co-star.

Manish Raisinghan and Avika Gor even directed a short film together while they were still working on 'Sasural Simar Ka'. The film called, Almost, has recently come out earlier this year. He played the role of  Siddhant Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka'.
