Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shares moments from her journey of penning the real-life story of the author and businessman. "Working on the life story of Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthy has been a learning for life," she said.
Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who has been working to bring the story of Narayana and Murthy to the screen for months says "it is not just a film but a life experience". She spent most of last year's lockdown penning the film brings to light the real-life story of Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy and author Sudha Murthy.

Tiwari said that getting familiar with the story of the Murthy's has left a deep impact on her personally. "It’s not a movie, it’s a life experience and I know deep in my heart this will be my most challenging and cherished film for life," she said.
"Working on the life story of Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthy has been a learning for life. Their story makes you think about your priorities and what’s your purpose in life apart from the work you do."
The writing segment of the movie is in its's finishing stage and is aiming to start shooting soon. However, the onset shooting process is not expected to go smooth due to the lockdown in Maharashtra. She said, "We will be working from our homes, thanks to the internet and training in work from home this past year."
"Also, our learning from this pandemic is to keep doing your work and be ready to go on the floor when the time is right and everyone feels it’s a normal, bright day once again," Ashwini Iyer Tiwari added.
Tiwari directed the 2015 film Nil Battey Sannata that brought into light the raw situation of unprivileged girls in the field of education and also broke the stereotype that believes women do not like Mathematics. She has also directed films like Panga in the year 2020, Bareilly Ki Barfi in 2017 and Amma Kanakku in 2017.
