Ashley Graham Celebrates B'day In India; Hops On 'Wow' Trend With Ranveer Singh

Supermodel Ashley Graham recently flew to India for the opening ceremony of the Jio World Plaza mall in Mumbai on November 1. The American model shared an Instagram vlog of her 48 hours, which also included her 30th birthday, soaking in all the glitz and glam of the luxurious gala.

Graham's First Time in India

In the vlog, Ashley Graham was gushing over Indian hospitality as she was showered with flower petals and a garland on her arrival at the hotel. In her hotel suite, the staff had set up a sweet birthday arrangement with a cake, chocolates, and a collage of her photographs. 

Graham praised the Ambani family for putting the opening ceremony together in just two weeks and thanked them for their generosity in inviting her. She walked the ramp at the event along with Swedish model Elsa Hosk. Graham donned a flamboyant gold-and-white handwoven saree and cape by Nita Ambani's brand Swadesh styled by celebrity stylist Anaita Adajania Shroff.

"Just Looking Like A Wow"

Ashley Graham also shared a glimpse of her rendezvous with Isha Ambani and Bollywood celebrities like Sonam Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, who were seen describing the "Just Looking Like A Wow" viral reel to the model. Her Indian styling team was also seen following the trend after getting her ready for the walk.

Graham had also posted another hilarious video following the 'Wow' trend and credited Ranveer Singh in her caption, "@ranveersingh told me to do it!!! In India... just looking like a wow."

After the rampwalk, the supermodel said, “And that is a wrap on the most amazing runway show here at the mall (Jio World Plaza). It was absolutely stunning and beautiful," she added,  that she is awaiting her next visit. During her short visit, she also visited the Gateway of India.
