Arjun Kanungo To Marry Carla Dennis On August 10, Singer Shares Wedding Details

Popular singer Arjun Kanungo and his longtime girlfriend Carla Dennis are getting married. The couple, who have been dating for more than seven years, will tie the knot in August in Mumbai.

The wedding is believed to take place as per Hindu traditions and is reportedly going to be a three-day affair in Mumbai in the presence of family and friends. This will include a mehndi ceremony on August 9, a wedding ceremony on August 10, followed by a reception on August 11.

Kanungo in an interview stated, "Carla is aware of Indian wedding customs and has actually taken over the preparation completely. She selected the locations and hired a wedding coordinator. My wedding attire was also chosen by her." Despite not being Indian, her family is excited about our customs and is eagerly preparing for their Indian wedding. Model Carla Dennis is reportedly from South Africa, and the singer added that she will wear her bridal outfit with her mother-in-law’s jewellery.

The couple also plans to hold a white wedding the following year, and he shares, "We will be hosting this in April 2023 in the UK.  This is for Carla and her near and dear ones. "

Although he is preparing for both weddings, earlier in his life he did not think marriage was a good option. He admitted, "I never believed I would ever get married. My life was changed by Carla! She is the main factor in our happy relationship and future nuptials. She never pushed me to get married. She had given up, even though I knew she wanted to get married since she knew what I thought. As long as we were together and happy, she was fine with not getting married. After observing her tolerance, I asked myself, "Why am I being so stubborn while Carla is willing to compromise for me?"

The wedding will take place in August, and then the pair will go on their honeymoon. The singer revealed that there is an emotional connection to the place they have chosen. He said, "We want to go to Japan." We feel a special connection to it. Our relationship had rough beginnings after three years of dating. But when I travelled to Japan for business, Carla came to accompany me. We restored our love for one another while we were there. Maybe we would have broken up if Carla hadn't travelled with me to Japan. We want to visit there on our honeymoon because of that."

The majority of people are probably aware that Arjun Kanungo is an Indian singer, actor, composer, and entrepreneur. The breakthrough hit Baaki Baatein Peene Baad marked the beginning of his pop career. The pair got engaged in November 2020.
