The Voice is produced by MGM Television and Warner Horizon Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, and ITV Studios The Voice USA, Inc. It was John de Mol who came up with the series and is currently serving as the executive producer for the show alongside a few notable people.
The show completed its 10-year anniversary with its 20th season last year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show had to be held via Zoom. The family of the contestants and the audience would cheer for them virtually. None of these changes has toned down the show's appeal. It continues to top primetime ratings.
