Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple In Ujjain

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli paid a visit to the well-known Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, before India's fourth Test match against Australia.

Social media is being used extensively to share a video of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma sitting inside the temple alongside other worshippers. On Saturday morning, Kohli and Sharma paid a visit to the Ujjain temple. According to ANI, Anushka Sharma said that the couple paid visit to the temple to offer their prayers and had a "good darshan".

The couple also took part when the Bhasma Aarti took place. When the Brahma Muhurta occurs between 4 and 5:30 in the morning, a famous ritual called bhasma aarti (offering with ashes) is carried out. Then once, the couple also performed Jalabhishek in the temple's sanctum sanctorum.

In accordance with the rules for performing the puja, Sharma chose a pale peach-colored saree, and Kohli was seen wearing a dhoti. They spent some time inside the temple after the consecration.

The fact that the couple are devout believers is no secret. Along with their daughter Vamika, the couple also travelled to Rishikesh and Vrindavan earlier this year. The family visited Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj's samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh after visiting Baba Neem Karoli's ashram in Vrindavan.

After dating for some time, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married in 2017 in a small ceremony in Italy. Vamika was born in January 2021.

Anushka's most recent appearance on the big screen was in the 2018 movie Zero, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Recently, she made a cameo appearance in the Netflix movie Qala (2022), which was produced by her brother Karnesh Sharma. In the song Ghodey Pe Sawaar, she can be seen. Following the birth of her daughter Vamika, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in Chakda Xpress. Jhulan Goswami, a cricket player, is the subject of the movie.
