Jhulan Goswami's biopic
She had to make her comeback last year with the biopic of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami titled Chakdah Express. However, the film was put on hold due to the pandemic and her pregnancy. The film was later reported to be starting at the end of this year. But as per latest reports, she has dropped out of the film.
According to a report, she has been replaced by Bulbbul actress Triptii Dimri. Anushka's role will be confined to that of a producer. She is co-producing the film along with Sony Pictures India.
Jhulan Goswami's biopic will showcase her journey starting from hometown in Nadia district to reaching The Lord’s where India shone in the women’s World Cup final.
Kaneda
Kaneda revolves the story of Punjabi gangsters based in Canada’s ethnically diverse city Vancouver. While Sunny Kaushal is believed to have been locked, the casting for the other pivotal parts is still being finalized. It is being produced by Anushka Sharma.
Arjun Kapoor will be seen opposite Anushka Sharma. Diljit Dosanjh and Pooja Hegde will also be seen playing supporting roles in the film. According to sources, a large part of this film will be shot in Canada.
