People All Over The World Love You: Anupam Kher Wishes Kirron Kher On Her Birthday

Kirron Kher birthday: Actor Anupam Kher took to Instagram and wished his wife, actor-politician Kirron Kher on her birthday on June 14. Kirron, 65, is currently battling multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.

66-year-old Anupam Kher shared a birthday wish for the BJP MP on June 14. He wished for a "long and healthy life" for his wife. The actor also shared many pictures of her from over the years in his post on Instagram including the ones clicked with legendary actor Robert De Niro, popular Hollywood star Bradley Cooper and the Dalai Lama. “May the Almighty grant you all the happiness in the world! People all over the world love you for the person you are! You are honest, fair, sincere and forthright! You deal with every situation in life with an amazing inner strength and grace! Stay healthy and safe! Love and prayers always! (sic)," Anupam Kher wrote in his post. Kirron Kher, who has worked in films like Pestonjee, Main Hoon Na, Devdas, Dostana and Hum Tum, ventured into politics in 2014, when she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

It was earlier in April this year that Anupam had opened up about Kirron’s illness. He had he revealed that his wife is currently undergoing treatment and that she is on her "way to recovery." Read on to know more about Multiple Myeloma here.

He further dismissed speculation about her health, in a social media post, “She is doing absolutely fine. In fact she got her second vaccination done for COVID this afternoon. I will request people not to spread such negative news," adding that she is blessed with a fighting spirit. "We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been a fighter and takes things head on (sic),” he added thanking her well-wishers for their concern and prayers.
