Another new anthology Ankahi Kahaniya, promises to take the viewers through twisted stories where love turns into betrayal, is set to release on September 17 on OTT.
The anthology is directed by filmmakers Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Abhishek Chaubey and Saket Chaudhary and has "three unheard and untold tales of love".
It will feature actors Abhishek Banarjee, Zoya Hussain, Kunal Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, Palomi, Rinku Rajguru and Delzad Hiwale, in pivotal roles. The digital streaming platform announced on August 18 that Ankahi Kahaniya will premiere on September 17. Sharing the same poster on Instagram, actor Zoya Hussain wrote, "You never know when to stay and when to let go… Watch 3 stories from 3 acclaimed directors coming to Netflix on September 17!"
Actor Kunal Kapoor wrote on Twitter, "Rishte hamesha asaan nahi hote," he is also prepping for his upcoming fiction saga The Empire.

Producer Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua Sara have produced Ankahi Kahaniya. According to a statement by the streamer, filmmaker and writer Tiwari's short film will focus on "reality vs fantasy". With every story, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari said she wanted to challenge herself as a storyteller and create varied emotional connections between the viewers and the characters that will last in their minds for a while. She is known for helming films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Nil Battey Sannata.
Based on the Kannada Story Madhyantara by Jayant Kaikini, the next segment features Sairat actor Rajguru and Hiwale and the film is set in 1980s Mumbai and explores young love in the world of single-screen theatres. The director Abhishek Chaubey is known for acclaimed films like Sonchiriya, Udta Punjab and Dedh Ishqiya.
And finally, Saket Chaudhary's short film features Kapoor, Hussain, Dwivedi and Palomi. The story is penned by Zeenat Lakhani. Chaudhary is known for directing the 2017 Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium. This segment is a love story as well.
