The Animal trailer, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, debuted on November 23. The trailer has drawn attention for a particular scene featuring Rashmika Mandanna as Geetanjali and Ranbir Kapoor as Arjun. The song, showcasing Arjun's profound affection for Geetanjali by touching her feet and cradling her in his arms (after emotionally draining her), garnered significant attention, but the recent scene is causing a stir for different reasons. In this instance, Arjun's character grabs Geetanjali by the throat, raising concern and discomfort among viewers.

Adding to the unease is the observation that none of the female characters in the trailer have substantial speaking roles, often limited to just brief moments, failing to portray a more nuanced female perspective in the narrative. Moreover, this part of the trailer featuring Mandanna delivering a dialogue sparked confusion among netizens. They shared the clip and humorously teased the actor.

The particular scene depicts a tense exchange between the married couple, Arjun and Geetanjali. Geeta's impassioned words and gritted teeth hint at a charged moment. However, her delivery, especially a somewhat unclear dialogue, "Pyar joke nahi rog hai, I really wish he died that day," has triggered many to replay the scene, attempting to decipher its intensity.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga Remark On The Scene:

Director-writer Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently shared insights about a particular scene that he anticipated would garner a viral response. During an interview with India Today, he delved into the scene and clarified the reason behind Mandanna's dialogue delivery with clenched teeth.

He said, "Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to speak in a particular way because it is a very emotional scene. I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, then they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense.”

The uncertainty surrounding her delivery has disappointed fans, leading to widespread criticism over what's seen as a dull performance. While some humorously note her blend of accents, merging Tamil with another, others express disappointment at what they perceive as a lack of emotional depth in her typically expressive eyes, affecting the usual brilliance in her acting.
