An old video has resurfaced online showing Animal actor Manjot Singh intervening to prevent a young girl from attempting suicide. Singh gained fame for his role as one of Ranbir Kapoor’s cousins in the film. Before entering the film industry, he was a fourth-year BTech student at Sharda University in Greater Noida. During his college days, he saved the life of an 18-year-old girl.
The viral 2019 video captures Manjot Singh's heroic act as he stopped the girl from jumping off a building. This incident occurred while he was pursuing his B.Tech. at Sharda University. The footage has recently gained traction on social media platforms.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Singh recounted the incident, sharing that the girl threatened to jump if anyone approached her. He engaged her in conversation, inquiring about any troubles or disagreements she might have faced, particularly with her mother. Despite his cautious approach, the girl leaped as soon as he tried to get closer.
Following this incident, Delhi's Sikh community recognised Manjot's bravery and pledged to cover his coaching fees for the civil service examination.
