Sara Ali Khan hosted a Diwali celebration on November 9 at her Mumbai home, gathering family and industry acquaintances. Kartik Aaryan was among the attendees, and the event drew the presence of Bollywood figures including Karan Johar, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ananya Panday. 

At the recently hosted Diwali party, Aaryan, who was once rumoured to be dating Khan, was present at the festivities. A few months ago, Sara Ali Khan also attended the Ganapati Utsav celebration at Kartik Aaryan's residence.

Sara Ali Khan On Dating Kartik Aaryan

Sara Ali Khan recently confirmed her separation from Kartik Aaryan in the latest instalment of Karan Johar's talk show, Koffee With Karan 8. In the episode, when questioned by Johar about the ease of being cordial with each other, considering her past relationship with Kartik Aaryan, Khan responded, "I don't want to say, yeah it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you're involved with anybody, whether they are your friends, whether it's professionally or romantically. Especially if I am, I get involved. I get invested. These things do affect you." 

Khan emphasised the need to rise beyond such challenges in the industry. She reflected on her personal experience, noting that permanent predicaments and promises like never talking to someone again don't hold in the dynamic entertainment business.

Khan expressed her thoughts openly, emphasising that she is not romantically involved with Shubman Gill. She addressed the misconception, stating, "Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peeche padha hai (The entire world is following the wrong Sara)". When the host mentioned Gill, she dismissed the rumours. The host further inquired if she was referring to Sara Tendulkar, to which she responded, "I don't mean. But I think so. I saw some images. I've never dated him."

Ananya Panday On Dating Aditya Roy Kapur

When questioned by Karan Johar about her rumoured relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur, Ananya Panday responded with movie references, stating, "Denying your relationships, isn't that a bit last season?" She emphasised the timeless nature of personal choices, expressing, "I don't think it is last season, I think it's forever. You should... I am not saying you should deny your relationships or accept them. You should just do what works for you and I think some things are private and special and should be kept that way."

Regarding Kapur’s web series The Night Manager, Johar inquired about how she manages her nights, to which Ananya humorously replied, "Honestly, as well as my days. Both my nights and days are managed pretty well." When asked if she had been "Gumraah in love," Panday responded with a touch of romance, saying, "Aashiqui aisi hi hoti hai (such as love)," referring to his iconic performance in Aashiqui 2.

The persistent questions about Aditya Roy Kapur continued, with Johar asking if they were in the friend zone or more. Responding to Johar's statement, "Pyaar dosti hai," Panday added, "Best friends, we are really good friends." The actor also shared her ideal dating app bio, stating, "I pretend to be casual but will want a serious relationship in three to five business days."
