Web Series Hush Hush: On the occasion of International Women's Day, that is, March 8, 2021, Amazon Prime Video announced its upcoming web series Hush Hush.

Featuring Soha Ali Khan, Juhi Chawla, Ayesha Jhulka, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami and Kritika Kamra, the web series is led by an all-women cast and crew. Created by Abundanita Entertainment, the web series Hush Hush features some strong female protagonists and also some fine female talent behind the camera.
Here are 10 things we know about the upcoming web series Hush Hush
- Tanuja Chandra, who has movies like Qarib Qarib Singlle, Dushman and Sangharsh to her name serves as the Creative Director and Executive Producer of the web series. Shikha Sharma of Shakuntala Devi, Toilet Ek Prem Katha and Sherni is both the Executive Producer and original story writer.
- Kopal Nathani, a promising name in the advertising industry is the director of all the episodes in the show.
- Juhi Chaturvedi, National Award-winning writer has penned down the dialogues for the series. She has earlier contributed to movies like Gulabo Sitabo and Piku. The series will be produced by Vikram Malhotra's Abundanita Entertainment (Breathe, Breathe: Into the Shadows, Shakuntala Devi, Airlift)
- Hush Hush is the digital debut of National Award-winning actor Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka. Other actors playing pivotal roles in the thriller-drama include Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami and Kritika Kamra.
- With an all female team, both on and off camera, Hush Hush is all about women telling their own stories.
- Starting from the show's Production Designer, Costume Designer, Co-Producers, Supervising Producer to Art, Costume, Production Coordination and Security team are all females.
- The 20 second teaser released by Amazon Prime Video features strong female protagonists and it gives us a hint that there is an element of mystery involved in the character of each of the women.
- The makers have not yet revealed the plot or release date of the web series.
- Speaking on the greenlight announcement, Tanuja Chandra said, "Video streaming in India has brought about a significant change in storytelling by pushing female narratives to the fore and I couldn’t be more pleased! It’s what directors like me have waited for".
