Amazon Prime Videos February Releases: The calendar for Amazon Prime Video is beefed up with huge releases in February 2022, with long-awaited movies and series on the scheduled list. As the streaming platform had already created much buzz with the January releases such as Pushpa starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in five languages, the audience awaits the coming month's release.

Here is the list of movies and show that is expected to be aired on Amazon Prime in February.

Amazon Prime Videos February Release:

Gehraiyaan-

The much-awaited movie of the season is Deepika Padukone's Gehraiyaan starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Pandey, Dhairya Karwa along with her. The story by Shakun Batra revolves around the complex modern-day relationship where people are trying to fight with their imperfections. The movie is also a huge deviation from the classic Bollywood love story where everything is shown happy from start till the end.

It was scheduled to release in theatres earlier. However, due to the COVID-19 situation in the country, the release was pushed to the streaming platform. Gehraiyaan is now scheduled to release on February 11, 2022, on Amazon Prime.

Marvelous Mrs Maisel-

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel has been releasing its fourth season episodes since February 18. Two episodes will drop on Fridays every week for the four weeks, which makes the fourth season to be comprising of a total of eight episodes. The story is inspired from the lady standup comedians from America who performed in New York in 1940's-60s.

The character of Midge is shown emerging as a strong lady after she suffered a setback in her married life and chose to pursue her dream of performing comedy on different stages in the city. Her journey takes audience through various stages of her life- as a amateur performer, distinguished artist, mother and daughter. Directed by Amy Sherman Palladino, the story casts Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen among others.

Mahaan-

The multilingual thriller starring Vikram and Dhruv Vikram will be released on the OTT giant on February 10, 2022. The action movie has been directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced under the banner of Seven Screen Studios by Lalit Kumar. The project's principal cast and the crew were announced on March 10, 2021.

The movie will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam languages. Amidst the speculation of theatrical release, the makers finally announced its release on the streaming platform on January 24. The movie will be the first collaboration between a father and son duo.

I Want You Back-

The movie will be a romantic comedy about the people who have left their respective partners in their thirties. However, they are unable to accept that the relationship has ended and they will have to live alone for the rest of their lives now. They decide to win their exes by trying to ruin their new relationships.

The star cast included Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Gina Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Manny Jacinto among many others, and was directed by Jason Orley. The movie is scheduled to release on February 11.
