Amazon Prime Video recently announced more than 40 new titles to be included on the platform soon. The list included soon-to-be-released films and TV shows along with Amazon's original content. OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has announced many new films and shows soon to be included in its watchlists. The platform has also announced the return of popular series including Made in Heaven, Mirzapur, Breathe, The Family Man and others. Films like Tiku Weds Sheru, Ammu, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani along with new shows including Gulkanda Tales, Happy Family Conditions Apply and PI Meena among others will also be released soon on Amazon Prime Video. While you wait for these popular TV shows and films to come out on Amazon Prime, the OTT service provider has some more entertaining content released in May 2022 to keep its audience engaged.

Man of the Match

Man of the Match is a Kannada-language film releasing on Amazon Prime Video on May 5. The film will have a direct OTT release. It include actors Nataraj S Bhat, Dharmanna Kadooru, Sundar Veena,Vasuki Vaibhav, Shri Datta and Chandarashekar Madabhavi along with others. The Kannada feature is produced by PRK Productions. Director D Sathya Prakash explains that the film is not merely a sports drama but also touches upon some contemporary issues in a single setting.

Modern Love: Mumbai

The series is among the three Indian adaptations of international series Modern Love. It is an anthological series including six wholesome love stories set in the backdrop of the city of Mumbai. It brings together various directors like Vishal Bharadwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Dhruv Sehgal, Alankrita Shrivastava and Nupur Asthana. The series has a star-studded cast of actors  Ritwik Bhowmik, Sarika, Danesh Razvi, Tanvi Azmi, Tanuja, Pratik Gandhi, Ranveer Bra and Meiyang Chang among others. Modern Love Mumbai will release on Amazon Prime Video on May 13, 2022.

Saani Kaayidham

Keerthy Suresh-starrer Saani Kaayidham is an upcoming Tamil-language film which is set to have a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. The film is a revenge action-drama feature which revolves around Ponni (Suresh) who plays the role of a police constable as she become a murderer to take revenge for the injustices done to her. The film also includes actor Selvaraghavan in major role. It is set to release on May 6, 2022.

The Wilds Season 2 

2020 drama series The Wilds will return its second season on May 6. The series revolves around a bunch of teenage girls who have been stranded on a remote island unaware about the fact that they have become a part of a social experiment. The Wilds Season 2 will only increase the amount of drama as it will include the addition of more test subjects with the inclusion of teenage boys stranded on a remote island who fight for survival under the watchful eye of the one who commenced the experiment. It stars Sophia Ali, Reign Edwards, Jenna Clause, Shannon Berry, Mia Healey, Erana James, and Sarah Pidgeon among others. Actors Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe and Charles Alexander among others will join the cast as fresh faces.

Night Sky

American sci-fi drama series Night Sky revolves around a couple who discovers a portal in their backyard which leads to a deserted planet. The series is created by Holden Miller and Daniel C. Connolly. Actors  Sissy Spacek and J. K. Simmons star as the couple with the msyterious portal to an unknown planet while Chai Hansen, Adam Bartley, Julieta Zylberberg, Rocío Hernández, Kiah McKirnan, Beth Lacke and others are also seen in the sci-fi series. The series is scheduled to release on May 20.
