Cast Of Never Have I Ever Season 2: The second season of the Netflix show Never Have I Ever premiered on the platform on Thursday, July 15. The coming-of-age comedy series centres on the life of Devi, played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who is a first-generation Indian American teenage girl and an overachieving high school sophomore.
The new season of the show will revolve around new challenges and everyday pressure of high school in Devi's life as well as handling drama at home. In the latest season, Devi will be navigating new romantic relationships in her life. The first season of the show was about coming to terms with grief and the second season is about moving on and finding a path forward.
The writer of the show Lang Fisher talked to Entertainment Weekly in an interview and said that both Nalini and Devi had pushed it off and not dealt with their feeling about the death of Mohan. However, this season is about moving on, and about life without him and how to bounce back.
Cast Of Never Have I Ever Season 2
The original cast of Never Have I Ever including Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison, Darren Barnet, Lee Rodriguez, and Ramona Young will return in the second season of the show. Megan Suri, who is known for the film The MisEducation of Bindu has also joined the cast as a student whose confidence and radiance will pose an immediate threat to Devi in the second instalment of the show.
The new cast member of the second season of Never Have I Ever is American Vandal’s Tyler Alvarez, who will play the role of a teen actor who returns to school after being cast in a Disney Channel show.
Two other new cast members, namely, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and P.J. Byrne have joined the show as Devi's teacher, and a research assistant respectively.
