Alia Bhatt RRR first look out: On Alia Bhatt’s birthday on Monday, the actor and makers of RRR have unveiled her much-awaited look from the film. Posing in a green saree, Bhatt introduces her character of Sita from the film.

Director SS Rajamouli also shared the poster on Twitter writing, “Strong-willed and resolvent SITA's wait for Ramaraju will be legendary!”
Bhatt, who turned 28 on Monday, had earlier teased her fans with a glimpse of her look from the film on Sunday. Sharing a picture of a silhouette shot, the actor wrote, "Coming tomorrow."
She has been cast opposite Ram Charan in this period drama, which also features Ajay Devgn and NTR Jr in key roles. Talking about shooting the film, Bhatt had told DNA, "Shooting for this film was a very different experience for me because along with Hindi, I also had to shoot in Telugu, which is a language I don’t know.”
Rajamouli had earlier revealed that the film is set in the 1920's and is a "fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters - Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem." He also said that it is scheduled to hit the screens on October 13, 2021.
“I literally lived with the lines for a year and a half. By the end of it, I was speaking my lines in my sleep. I was waking up and saying my lines for breakfast, snack and dinner. I'm extremely excited and thrilled to be a part of this film to be directed by Rajamouli sir and to work with these extremely talented and larger than life actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan,” Bhatt previously claimed.
She will also be seen in Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, directed by Ayan Mukerji and also features Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in lead roles. Her upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi is set for a theatrical release on July 30.
