Despite the many well wishes, Alia Bhatt was also really disappointed in some of the sexist media coverage she encountered.

A news website had reported that Ranbir Kapoor will visit the UK to pick Alia Bhatt to bring her back to India. Hitting out at the website for that, Bhatt wrote, "Nothing has gotten delayed!!! No one needs to pick anyone up. I am a woman not a parcel!!! I do not need to REST at all but good to know you'll have a doctor certification as well :)"
She added, " This is 2022. Can we please get out of this archaic way of thinking! Now if you would excuse me...my shot is ready."
