As a new working mother, Alia Bhatt is frequently questioned about how she balances everything. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that although her daughter is just five months old, she has already impressed her with how "well-behaved" and "peaceful" she is. She continued that there are days when she is not, but that's okay too; as she is a baby, and she have the right to have good and bad days. The actor continued by saying that, as a mother, she too has the right to have "great and terrible" days.

Bhatt admitted that she may be a bit of a "control freak" and that she likes to keep everything under control, but that this becomes more challenging when you have a baby. However, she noted that this gives her the foundation for her devotion to her work.
In addition, the actor discussed her anxiety as a new mom and how she works very hard to maintain her mental health. According to her, worrying about whether she is raising her child properly while working makes her anxious. She also said that even if she has all the comforts to handle all of them properly, feeling the pressure and having nagging doubts are unavoidable.

She continued by describing her ongoing self-judgement, in which she feels extremely critical of herself. However, the actor acknowledged that she is making serious efforts to improve her mental health and that she regularly discusses these fears in therapy. Her understanding that this is a process that is constantly expanding and growing also aids in her ability to realize that she won't be able to figure it out on day one, day five, or even day ten.
Bhatt also spoke openly about her views on Raha's privacy. She claimed that she and Ranbir Kapoor have a very clear idea of how long they don't want Raha to be in the public eye. They even don't want to share her images on social media, and she simply doesn't feel comfortable with any kind of conversation about her young child at this time.
