Alia Bhatt recently unveiled two new posters for her upcoming film Jigra. In the first poster, Alia is seen armed, standing in the foreground with Vedang Raina’s silhouette in the backdrop. The second poster captures an intense close-up of Alia, staring directly into the camera.

Alongside the visuals, her caption read, "Tu mere protection mein hai. Jigra in cinemas, 11th October." Another caption added, "Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut kam (The story is long, but my brother has very little time)."
In the caption, Bhatt also revealed the release date for her film, Jigra. The poster confirms that Jigra will be released in cinemas on October 11, 2024.
Last year, in September, Bhatt has announced the conclusion of the shooting of her upcoming film, Jigra. In a parallel celebration, Raina also took to his Instagram to announce the wrap-up, expressing gratitude for the profound experience the film and his character provided him.
Describing it as a journey that gave as much as it took, the actors eagerly anticipated the film's release. Meanwhile, Karan Johar, associated with the project, bid adieu to his ‘Jigras,’ Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, sharing the excitement for the audience to witness their work on the big screen.
Last year, Bhatt offered a sneak peek into the film by sharing pictures from the first-day shoot of Jigra. She posted two fresh grayscale images from the filming location. The first captures her preparing for a scene, while the second shows her gazing directly into the camera through a glass surface.

The film, which appears to revolve around the profound love of a sister towards her brother, and her unwavering commitment to safeguard him, is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Bhatt's own Eternal Sunshine Productions.
Dharma Productions shared an announcement video for Jigra, giving audiences a glimpse into the film's intriguing narrative.

In the video, Alia Bhatt is depicted as a character wearing a shirt and trousers, carrying a backpack, and exuding a sombre demeanour. The scene is set on a street adorned with neon lights and billboards, as if she is awaiting someone. Bhatt's voiceover in the video conveys a protective message to her brother, saying, "Look at me. You wear my rakhi, right? You are under my protection. I won't let anything happen to you. Ever."
