Alia Bhatt Starts Shooting For Her First Production Venture Darlings

Alia Bhatt Darlings: Taking on Instagram, Alia shared a series of her pictures revealing that how she is always edgy on the first day of the shoot.

Bollywood actor, Alia Bhatt has started shooting for her first production venture. , Darlings, on Saturday. Co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, the movie stars Alia with Shefali Shah,  Roshan Mathew and, Vijay Varma.

Sharing her photos from the sets, she spoke about how she is nervous about this project.

She wrote.“Day one of DARLINGS! my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first & forever (in this case a very nervous actor). I don’t know what it is. The night before I start a new film I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body. I dream all night about messing up my lines, become jumpy and reach the sets 15 mins before time, fearing I’ll be late!”

She also included the feeling of her being nervous about starting off with such a project, her first production venture ever.

Bhatt told her fans to send a truckload of luck her way as she has to be a match with her co-actors, Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah, and Roshan Matthew.

Many of her fans as well as some celebrities responded to her post on her Instagram handle.

Her mother, Soni Razdan replied with some heart emojis. Vijay Varma, her co-actor also responded.

About the movie

Darlings is a story of a mother-daughter relationship, directed by writer Jasmeet K Reen. The film is set in Mumbai against the silhouette of an orthodox lower-middle-class neighborhood. The story revolves around the lives of two women as they find resolution and love in atypical circumstances. The movie is said to have traces of dark comedy as well.

Meanwhile, Bhatt has several projects brewing up. She will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie, Gangubai Khathiawadi, RRR, with Ram Charan and N.T. Rama Rao Jr., and Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
