Ajeeb Daastaans Netflix: Ajeeb Daastaans, a Netflix anthology delves into four contrasting stories that explore the entangled relationships and moral dilemma. The Karan Johar-produced original film premieres on April 16, on the streaming site.
The ensemble cast of the much-anticipated project includes Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Armaan Ralhan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Konkana Sensharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah and Manav Kaul.
The official of Ajeeb Daastaans reads: "Ajeeb Daastaans is an anthology of four strangely contrasting stories which delve into fractured relationships and unexplored spaces. The stories set in varied milieus, explore jealousy, entitlement, prejudices and toxicity, which are often entangled within the heart of their relationships. Each story also takes you on a journey where one would struggle with the moral dilemma of what’s right and what’s wrong, as the lines between them get blurred".
The Netflix Original, directed by four directors, Kayoze Irani, Neeraj Ghaywan, Raj Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. The makers released the first teaser of the film on 19 March.

Meet the female cast of the Netflix anthology, Ajeeb Daastaans
Fatima Sana Shaikh
The Indian actor began her acting career as a child actor and featured in Chachi 420 alongside Kamal Haasan. Later, she portrayed the role of wrestler Geeta Phogat in the sports drama titled Dangal. She rose to prominence after starring in the aforementioned film. Recently, she featured in Anurag Basu directorial Ludo, alongside a powerful ensemble cast that includes Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, and Sanya Malhotra.
Nushrratt Bharuccha
The Hindi film actor, who made her debut in 2006, marked her first commercial success with the Luv Ranjan directed rom-com Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Currently, Bharuccha is shooting for her next release, Ram Setu, starring Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Konkona Sen Sharma
A well-known name in Bollywood cinema, Konkana Sen Sharma, is an actor, writer, and director majorly involved in Hindi and Bengali films. The National Film Award winner made her directorial debut with A Death in the Gunj, which starred Vikrant Massey and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles, in 2017. The actor will soon feature in the Amazon Prime web series Mumbai Diaries 26/11 slated to release this year.

Aditi Rao Hydari
The Indian actor has featured in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films over the years of being part of the entertainment industry. Aditi Rao Hydari shot to fame after her performance in Sudhir Mishra's romantic thriller film Yeh Saali Zindagi. Ajeeb Daastaans will mark her second film on Netflix in 2021. Previously, she appeared in suspense film The Girl On The Train starring Parineeti Chopra, Kirti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwary. The film is based on British author Paula Hawkins 2015 novel of the same name.
Shefali Shah
The Bollywood actor who made her debut with the film Rangeela earned critical praises for her performance in Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya. The versatile actor bagged the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Last Lear. In 2019, she made her digital debut with the Netflix series Delhi Crime.
