Aishwarya Lekshmi tests COVID positive: Malayalam film actor Aishwarya Lekshmi recently tested positive for COVID-19. The Mayaanadhi star shared the news about her diagnosis with her fans via Instagram on Thursday, April 8. In her post, the actor said that it is important to follow the guidelines and restrictions made to prevent the spread of the virus.
Lekshmi posted a video on Instagram, revealing that she contracted the virus even after taking all the necessary precautions. She also admits that maybe she "took it easy" at some point as she started growing tired of the restrictions.
In the caption of the video that the actor posted, she informed her followers that they were looking at a newly diagnosed COVID-19 patient. The actor is taking antivirals, multivitamins, turmeric latte and doing Yoga to increase her lung capacity and maintain her immunity.
The Mayaanadhi actor in her post said that taking things easy was not worth it and asked her fans to not take things for granted and wear masks.
Aishwarya Lekshmi predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. Soon she will be seen in the Netflix action thriller film Jagame Thandhiram directed by Karthi Subbaraj, alongside Dhanush. She will also appear in the historical drama Ponniyin Selvan with Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shobhita Dhulipala. This film is being directed by Mani Ratnam.
Lekshmi is known for her work in films like Varathan, Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, Action and Mayaanadhi. She has won the Best Female Debut - South, Filmfare award and SIIMA award for Best Female Actor, Malayalam for her performances.
