aespa: Fashion brand Givenchy has made the K-pop girl group aespa as their brand ambassador.
This is the first time that an entire band is representing a brand instead of an individual. SM Entertainment announced the news on Wednesday and shared that all the four members of aespa will represent Givenchy as their brand ambassador in 2021. They will showcase the new collection created by the creative director of Givenchy, Matthew M. Williams.
Delighted with the collaboration, Williams said that he is overwhelmed by the energy of the group's each member. He said, "I felt that as a group and individually, Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning have strong individuality and style that naturally fit with Givenchy."Since we are joining Givenchy’s new chapter, we will try to show various aspects and activities," they added.
"aespa’s fashion is having their own colour,” Williams added.
This definitely points towards the K-pop bands global influence in such a short span of time. Aespa also released their statement regarding them becoming the face of Givenchy. They said that they are extremely happy to work with Givenchy's new creative director Matthew. "
