Bollywood may have suffered from the pandemic due to a delay in shoot schedules, but it has finally recovered. The movie industry is back to business as usual, with new releases scheduled for every Friday. As a result, a series of films starring some of our favourite actors that had been delayed are now coming out quickly, one after the other. 2023 is the year that some of the biggest stars will return to theatres after a long absence.
The long wait is now over! Bollywood will see several stars make a comeback this year. Many actors are getting ready to make long-awaited comebacks to woo you all with their acting, from superstar Shah Rukh Khan to Anushka Sharma.
Actors Making Comeback In 2023:
Anushka Sharma
Fans of Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma will have a special year because the actor will make a significant comeback to films after a four-year absence. The Netflix project Chakda Xpress will be directed by Prosit Roy, who was last seen in Zero. The sports biopic Chakda Xpress is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also marks Anushka Sharma's return to the big screen after giving birth to Vamika.
Helen
Veteran actor Helen has not appeared in any movies since she was seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. It's going to be different in 2023 because you'll be able to see her make a comeback in the film Brown, directed by Abinay Deo and starring Karisma Kapoor. The series is based on the book City of Death by Abheek Barua.

Shah Rukh Khan
Following a four-year absence, superstar Shah Rukh Khan will make his big-screen comeback with Pathaan. He was last seen in Zero in 2018. Alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, SRK will appear in the Siddharth Anand-directed movie in an action-packed role. On January 25, the movie will be released in theatres. In addition to ">Pathaan, he has two other notable releases: Jawan and Dunki.
Fardeen Khan
With the release of Visfot, the Hindi remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film Rock Paper Scissors, which was the country's entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards, actor Fardeen Khan will officially end his almost 11-year hiatus from the big screen. Riteish Deshmukh also appears in the film, which is directed by Kookie Gulati. With Sushmita Sen, Fardeen most recently appeared in the 2010 movie Dulha Mil Gaya.
Karisma Kapoor
In 2012's Dangerous Ishqq, Karisma Kapoor played the lead female role. Since then, she has made cameo appearances and performed songs in numerous films, as well as the 2020 web series Mentalhood on Zee 5. In 2022, she began filming for Brown, the Abhinay Deo-helmed film that will mark her comeback. Although it's unclear if this will be a film or web series, it's anticipated to be released this year.
