Actor Rhea Chakraborty took to her Instagram to share an introspecting note on the year 2021.
She posted a picture of herself smiling. In the caption, she wrote, "You see me smiling and laughing, it’s not been easy to get here. A year full of healing, a year full of pain. But here I am, smiling and looking at you 2021-because indeed what doesn’t break you makes you stronger..! Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve with your loved ones, may 2022 be kind to all of us. Love and light (sparkles emoji) #rhenew."
The actor has been active on social media in the past few days. On Christmas, she was seen in pictures shared by Anusha Danekar. Chakraborty was celebrating the holiday with her friends. She also posted a picture of herself with a puppy and wished Merry Christmas to her fans and followers. Earlier, she had posted a selfie on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote, "Took a selfie after ages, felt normal! Selfie skills need improvement, but #practicemakesperfect #rhenew."

The actor was probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) over the death of her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. The late actor died by suicide in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020. Chakraborty was also dragged by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for an investigation into the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood. Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB in September last year and only now bank accounts have been defreezed by the authorities. Her gadgets were also taken away.
The actor was last seen in Rumi Jafry's film titled Chehre which released earlier this year. The film also had Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and Krystle D'souza playing significant roles. Earlier this year on Sushant Singh Rajput's death anniversary Chakraborty wrote, "There isn’t a moment where I believe that you aren’t here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now -watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me."
