Aarti Sabharwal and Rajiv Kapoor: Bollywood actor Rajiv Kapoor passed away on Tuesday at the age of 58 in Mumbai, after suffering a massive heart attack. Fondly called 'Chimpoo,' he was a prominent member of the Kapoor film family and the youngest son of legendary actor Raj Kapoor.
The news of his death was shared by Neetu Kapoor, his sister-in-law and wife of late Rishi Kapoor. Sharing an image of 'Chimpoo' Kapoor, she wrote on Instagram, "RIP." His older brother Randhir Kapoor, the only surviving son of the fourth generation Kapoor siblings, confirmed the news saying, "I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him."
Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor had five children: Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, and daughters Ritu Nanda and Rima Kapoor-Jain.

The Ram Teri Ganga Maili actor was notably in a two-year relationship followed by a short marriage with architect Aarti Sabharwal from 2001 to 2003. Reports claim Sabharwal, post their divorce, took her profession abroad to Canada. The couple did not have any children.
Aarti Sabharwal, during her time with Kapoor, was popular in Bollywood as his partner. Actors Neetu Kapoor and Babita, wives of Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor respectively, also came to be distinguished members of the Kapoor clan post-marriage.

News of Kapoor's passing has left the film industry shocked with stars and celebrities mourning the loss. Neetu Kapoor‘s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared the same picture and shared, “Good bye uncle ♥️ #RIP”
The fifth-generation Kapoor children, Kareena, Karisma, and Ranbir, were spotted at the late actor's family home in Chembur following news of his death. Others from the industry like Shah Rukh Khan, Khushbu Sundar and Alia Bhatt also visited to pay their last tributes.

Madhuri Dixit meanwhile recalled how she starred alongside Kapoor in Prem Granth. "...he handled with great maturity though it was his first film," she wrote.
