Nancy Drew Spinoff Titled Tom Swift: For all the Nancy Drew lovers, here is some good news! A spin-off show titled Tom Swift, recently secured a straight to series order American English-language broadcast channel The CW network. Will we be able to watch it in India? Maybe not soon but who won't be excited about a show about the popular teen detective who has been part of our childhood!

The Hollywood Reporter said that actor Tian Richards, will be seen as Tom Swift. Swift is a Black, gay billionaire inventor. He first made his appearance in the episode titled “The Celestial Visitor" of Nancy Drew.

Nancy Drew the series released in 2019 is a supernatural mystery drama television based on novels about the character.
Both Nancy Drew and Tom Swift have their roots in early 20th century novels for young readers by the publishers Stratemeyer Syndicate.

Tom Swift the show will revolve around a world of sci-fi conspiracy after the disappearance of the protagonist's father.
He will take it upon himself to unravel the truth and step into a world unfamiliar to him.

Nancy Drew as a series debuted in October 2019 to mixed reviews. A second season aired in January 2021. Kennedy McMann essayed the role of the titular character.

Tom Swift will also have the same team of showrunner Melinda Hsu Taylor. And series creators Josh Schwartz, Noga Landau and Stephanie Savage behind it. The show went into development in October 2020. CBS Studios and Fake Empire have produced the spinoff. As per reports, the new show will be available for viewing in 2021-2022 but no official dates have been announced yet.
