The upcoming 68 Filmfare Awards ceremony, dedicated to recognizing artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi film industry, will be an event to look forward to. The highly anticipated awards show is right around the corner and will feature some of the most prominent Bollywood celebrities in attendance.

The prestigious 68 Filmfare Awards, which is a highly anticipated event in the Bollywood industry is set to commence and fans are excitedly looking forward to it. The ceremony will be held on 27 April 2023, at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai and will be hosted by Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul.

The recently announced nominees for the 68 Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 were declared with numerous awards in both the technical and non-technical categories, featuring nominations across a total of 19 primary categories.

Some of the biggest names in Bollywood have received nominations in the Popular Awards, Critics' Awards, and Technical Awards categories. The Best Film category, one of the most significant categories of the evening, is a mix of genres. Badhaai Do, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, Gangubai Kathiawadi, The Kashmir Files, and Uunchai are the films competing for the prestigious trophy.

The individuals who directed the aforementioned movies are also contenders for the Best Director award. These include Anees Bazmee for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,  Ayan Mukerji for Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, Harshvardhan Kulkarni for Badhaai Do, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sooraj R. Barjatya for Uunchai, and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri for The Kashmir Files.

Amitabh Bachchan, a veteran actor, has once again been nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in the movie Uunchai.

Alia Bhatt's solo performance in the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi will be up against the performances of Bhumi Pednekar in Badhaai Do, Janhvi Kapoor in Mili, Kareena Kapoor Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha, and Tabu in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 for the Best Actor (female) award.
