The movie 365 Days is based on the first book of a trilogy written by Polish author Blanka Lipinska. The movie revolves around Massimo who is a member of the Sicilian Mafia family and Laura who is a sales director. On a trip to Sicily which she takes to try to save her relationship, Massimo, a mafia member kidnaps her and gives her 365 days to fall in love with him.

“I am proud because I created a story that is now known all over the world, proud of the actors for their dedication towards the project, and proud of the team that worked hard on the film. One thing I can promise you is that it's not over yet," Lipinska told Netflix.

365 Days 2 Plot

The sequel may adapt the follow-up novel of Blanka Lipińska and will be named 365 days: This Day. The first film ended with a cliffhanger scene. In the end, Mario receives a phone call from a Torricelli informant that a rival mafia family is about to murder Laura. Laura's car enters a tunnel but doesn't come out the other side. Mario rushes to find Massimo who was earlier speaking to Laura. This information is enough to bring Massimo to his knees.

A new character named Marcelo "Nacho" Matos (Simone Susinna) is introduced, and he seizes Laura and she succumbs to him, that's when the drama escalates. Massimo will also face another rival, his twin brother Adriano, who lives outside the criminal world and has no liking for his brother.

Expect more steamy scenes and disturbing storylines in the sequel, but don't expect the sequels to fully adapt the novels entirely. During an interview with Oprahdaily, author Blanka Lipińska said, "I wanted to give my fans more than what they'll find in the book and create something new".

Trailer Out!

Netflix has released an official trailer for 365 Days: This Day. The trailer begins with Laura approaching Massimo in lingerie, and then the trailer moves to see a series of scenes in which mysterious newcomer Nacho seems to be building a level of intimacy with Laura, even though she doesn't completely know his true identity.

The main indication is that 365 Days: This Day will centre on the marriage of Laura and Massimo, and the continued tensions of both Massimo's criminal life and sexual life. Though the movie's trailer doesn't clearly reference the first movie's ending, the audience is too eager to unravel the mystery!
