Getting over Titanic is a hard thing to do, it is almost two and a half-decade since when the film was first released, yet it lives in the heart of people. Once again to relinquish the magical romance of the Titanic and mark the film's 25th anniversary, the historical romance epic is set to be released in theaters next month.
25th Anniversary Of Titanic
James Cameron's Titanic is marking the occasion with a brand-new" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> trailer and poster. The trailer shows glimpses of all the encounters Jack and Rose have in the film, the bond that reflects a timeless love story. The trailer celebrates the 25th anniversary of the love story this Valentine’s Day Weekend. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet play the lovers Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, respectively in the film. The story is on the backdrop of the doomed RMS Titanic in 1912.
The film held the No. 1 box-office spot for 15 straight weeks when first released. The film became the highest-grossing movie of all time earning $2.2 billion worldwide — a record only broken by Cameron's 2009 film Avatar. The 3 hours and 15 minutes film won a record 11 Academy Awards in 1998 and now will be screened in 3D 4K HDR with a high frame rate slated to release in theaters on Feb. 10.
Director Cameron in his recent interview with People about Titanic's special edition issue. He said, "I spent a year researching because I wanted it to be as accurate as possible."
Further added, "I said to the team, 'Guys, I want it to be like we went back in a time machine and filmed what happened. Of course, history is a bit elusive, and people had differing accounts. But we got pretty close, and nothing in our subsequent 20-plus years of investigation upset anything major in the film. Could I, as a rivet-counting nerd, make a few tweaks to the movie? Yes, but I think we got it pretty right."
