Even after 15 years of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, the memories of Jai and Aditi remain cherished, and their characters stand out as relatable and timeless. Aditi's character, in particular, has become beloved and relatable over the years, embodying qualities that resonate with audiences across generations.

She Was Unapologetically Authentic: 

Aditi's persona was presented as a girl next door. She wore her emotions on her sleeve and was unafraid to be herself, which gave her a relatable personality that connected with the audience. She was portrayed as someone who has her own quirks, insecurities, and dreams, which makes her a relatable and convincing character.

She Had Relatable Conflicts: 

Aditi's romantic conflicts and dilemmas in the movie were relatable and realistic. What more relatable conflict could there be than having attachment issues with someone and not knowing where to stand?

Her way of dealing with those attachment issues with Jai, her best friend, and her struggle with her feelings for him while navigating the complexities of their friendship.

Another common conflict that many of us may have experienced is the internal conflict she was having with her brother, who had once been her best friend. She could go to great lengths for him as a friend, but until her friend didn't mention it, she hadn't realised that he is the one who is missing from his life.

Her Flaws and Imperfections: 

Even after all these years, Aditi's flaws and imperfections make her a relatable character. When I first saw it 15 years ago, I thought, "Why will she choose Sushant if she has Jai? How stupid is she? Now look who's a fool and who falls for red flags.

She had a temper, made impulsive decisions, had attachment issues, and had her fair share of insecurities. These humanising qualities make her relatable even today, as viewers can empathise with her struggles and mistakes, ultimately making her more endearing.
