Cold Case cast: The teaser of much-awaited horror-thriller movie Cold Case starring Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran was released on Saturday, June 19. The much-talked-about film is set to have an OTT premier on June 30.

Sukiraman first informed about the release of the film on June 17 through his Twitter account stating that a new case, a new mystery, and a new cop is back on duty. The film will be Sukuraman's first film to get a direct OTT release.

The producer of the film Anto Joseph talked about the decision of an OTT release and said that the films will only be able to recover their production cost if a 100 percent occupancy in cinema halls is allowed. But since there is no clarity on when the cinema halls will reopen, he is trying for an OTT release for his films.
Cast
Apart from Sukuraman film features Aruvi actor Aditi Balan and Suchitra Pillai in key roles. The ensemble also consists of actors Lakshmi Priya, Alencier Lopez, Anil Nedumangad and Athmiya among others. The film has been directed by cinematographer Tanu Balak who is known for working on the film The Train.
Plot
Cold Case is reported to be a unique horror-thriller that revolves around untold secrets left behind by spirits when they leave the earth. Sukuraman will be seen in the role of a police officer named Sathyajith. He tries to solve a case that involves paranormal forces with his sense of logic. It is said that his role as a cop will be entirely different from his other roles as a police officer.
