The trailer for Taapsee Pannu's first production, Dhak Dhak, has been finally released. This film introduces an entirely new and unique storyline to Indian cinema. Dhak Dhak follows a group of four diverse women who embark on an adventurous journey, daring to ride motorcycles to the world's highest motorable road, the Khardungla Pass.
The captivating trailer introduces four distinct characters. Ratna Pathak Shah portrays Biker Nani, who knows how to cleverly handle online trolls. She shares her aspiration of journeying to the revered Khardung La Pass, a destination for bikers, with Fatima Sana Shaikh, who takes on the role of travel blogger, Sky. Nani promises to help Sky fulfil her dream.

When their motorcycle breaks down, they encounter an unconventional bike expert in Dia Mirza's character, Uzma, who is described as a resourceful mechanic by day and a homemaker by night. The group is later joined by Sanjana Sanghi's character, Manjari, a first-time solo traveller.
As they embark on their motorcycle journey, differences and disputes arise among them, particularly regarding the division of expenses, and one of them even takes a rebellious turn. The film's storyline revolves around their journey to ultimately reach their destination.

Taapsee Pannu is venturing into film production with this upcoming project featuring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Sanjana Sanghi, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Earlier, the movie's release date was unveiled alongside a new poster.

Pannu’s Outsiders Films and Viacom 18 Studios have co-produced the film with BLM Pictures, and it marks the directorial debut of Tarun Dudeja, who co-wrote the script with Parijat Joshi. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 13, 2023.
In a previous interview, Pannu discussed her new project, saying that at Outsiders Films, her goal is to produce films that are both meaningful and entertaining. She added that Dhak Dhak tells the story of four women who come to realise that freedom must be claimed, not granted.
