Actor Nora Fatehi Tested Negative. The number of coronavirus cases in the country is on a surge. As the cases reach our neighbourhood and locality, Bollywood is also not untouched. Amongst many actors who tested positive for COVID-19 was Nora Fatehi. The actor updated her health status on her social media account on January 7, today saying she has now tested negative.
The actor and dancer tested positive on December 30 last year and made a statement about it on social media, informing her fans and known people about testing positive. The 28-year-old was kept under quarantine and in a statement also said that she was bedridden for a few days, having "reacted badly to it."

The statement also added her consulting a doctor and co-operating with Mumbai's Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for safety concerns. She posted an Instagram story stating, "I am working on recovering at the moment that's all that matters right now. Nothing is more important than your health."

Today, the actor shared the good news to share with her fans. She put out another statement today on her Instagram story stating, "Hey guys! I have finally tested negative! Thank u for all ur prayers and lovely messages. It's been rough! Im gna continue to work on getting my strength and energy back so i can kick ass this year (emojis) In the meantime stay safe guys."
Celebrities have been posting on social media about contracting COVID-19 despite the precautionary measures and have been unanimously asking their followers to mask up and take care in the tough times. Recently, Swara Bhaskar also posted on her social media account about testing positive for COVID-19. Actor John Abraham and his wife were informed about catching the virus on January 3. Songwriter and music composer Vishal Dadlani also tested positive. He said, "This is for anyone who may have come in contact with me this last week or 10 days. Sadly, despite every precaution, I've tested Covid Positive."
Today, India reported 1,17,100 fresh COVID-19 cases. The number of death has also increased after 302 fresh fatalities were registered, now it stands at 4, 83, 178. While Maharashtra alone has registered 36, 265 fresh COVID-19 cases on Thursday, making the number of cases spike by 31.7 percent.
