Nia Sharma proning technique: Actor Nia Sharma had a lot to say about celebrities teaching the proning technique on social media.
Sharma referred to them as 'woke celebrities' and told them to instead share videos featuring doctors doing the same if they really want to spread awareness. She pointed out that celebrities did not speak about proning before doctors introduced it, and that anyone can search about it as we all have Google.

Proning technique on social media
Kindly amplify the doctors’ videos if at all you want to spread awareness.
You clearly didn’t know anything about it before doctors introduced it.
‘Google’ bhi hai hamare paas.#Proning
Soon after she tweeted about this, many Twitter users praised her for calling out these 'woke' celebrities.

Earlier in the day, actor Shefali Jariwala had demonstrated the proning technique in a video. She had shared the video on her official Instagram handle.
Proning is a technique which is useful in increasing the oxygen levels in the body. It is particularly useful for patients with COVID-19. One has to lie on their chest and stomach and take deep breaths in order to perform this technique. Read more about it here.
Actor Nia Sharma wants celebrities to share the names of COVID-19 vaccine centres
Sharma hit out at celebrities who were constantly encouraging everyone to take the COVID-19 vaccine. “Every woke celebrity of this nation urging people to get vaccinated...Kindly mention the name of the centres that have it readily available at this moment so that people queuing up in thousands for days now don’t look stupid. P.S we need to get vaccinated,” she wrote on her official Twitter handle.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Nia Sharma said that it would make more sense if celebrities like Priyanka Chopra urge people to register for the vaccine, instead of donating towards COVID-19 relief measures.
