Nia Sharma on COVID-19 Vaccine: Television actor Nia Sharma took to her Twitter handle to question the 'woke' celebrities who are urging everyone to get vaccinated and pointed out at the shortage of vaccine doses currently being reported in India.
In a tweet, actor Nia Sharma questions the 'woke' celebrities who are asking their fans and followers to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Despite agreeing that we need to get vaccinated, she points out that there are not enough centres that have vaccines readily available currently.

"Every woke celebrity of this nation urging people to get vaccinated...Kindly mention the name of the centres that have it readily available at this moment so that people queuing up in thousands for days now don't look stupid. P.S we need to get vaccinated," she wrote.

Sharing the tweet on her Instagram handle, Sharma added, "Until then, please slow down with your sanctimonious talk of 'go get vaccinated'."
States on COVID vaccine shortage
States such as Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Gujarat etc. have reported shortage of vaccines, due to which they might not be reportedly able to open the immunisation drive from May 1.
