The New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden's biography Jacinda Arden: Leading With Empathy came out on Tuesday, May 25. The book is authored by Supriya Vani and Carle A. Harte based on exclusive interviews with the leader.
It explores the influences that shaped Arden and made her a leader with 'different way of doing things'. Her unique leadership style has set an example for leaders all over the world.

- Supriya Vani is a New York-based peace activist and an author. She is the education and peace ambassador for Caravan for Peace. It is an NGO with more than 50 international Olympians in partnership with Peace and Sport. She actively participates in international peace organisations and forums as a human rights advocate.
- Talking about her book, Supriya Vani said, "My interviews with Jacinda Arden revealed her to be a person who truly embodies empathy and compassion". "She entered politics for the sake of children and I hope this biography inspires young girls to realise their full potential," she added.
- Her first book was Battling Injustice: 16 Women Nobel Peace Laureates. It was based on her interviews with all women Nobel Peace Laureates. Prominent International figures including Malala Yousafzai, the Dalai Lama, Mikhail Gorbachev, Juan Manual Santos and the former Secretary General of United Nations Ban Ki-Moon.
- Vani has been a part of the Permanent secretariat of the world Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, the Nobel Women's Initiative, and Laureates and Leaders, World Academy of Arts and Science and the United Nations.

- Vani is a recipient of an honorary James Patterson fellowship from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
